MERRY CRISTMAS
I bring you good news of great joy which shall be to all the people; for today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord”.(Luke 2,10-11)
What a great joy to celebrate the birthday of Jesus, our Savior!
Why did the Son of God become flesh?
The answer is “for us men and for our salvation He came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit, He became incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and was made man”.
He came down from heaven to save us by reconciling us with God, who loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might have eternal life. The Son of God assumed our nature in order to make us partakers of the divine nature; in order to make us sons of God.
